Saslong FIS Ski Worldcup

Val Gardena is an ideal destination for ski enthusiasts, and on one weekend in December, it even becomes the center of the ski world. Here, visitors can watch the skiing superstars competing live for the best positions in the FIS World Cup. The Saslong slope, with its feared camel humps and speeds of over 100 km/h, is one of the most famous slopes on the World Cup circuit. Every December, a super-G race and men's downhill take place here. Local celebrities and international legends like Peter Müller, Rob Boyd, Michael Walchhofer, and Kristian Ghedina have fulfilled their dream of winning the FIS Ski World Cup in Val Gardena.

Bonichhof Special

Autumn MTB Tour

The Bonichhof, owned by Antonia and Filip, is a special place. Many delicious products are made here and the farm is located in a uniquely wonderful location in Lajen. After an exciting tour over rough stones, we stop here for a cozy lunch. Antonia conjures up delicious dishes for us and we enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in the garden or in the rustic lounge. Before our return journey, we can browse in the farm shop and stock up on regional products for the rest of the day.

Sellaronda Bike Day

June & September

The Sellaronda Bike Day around the Sella Group attracts numerous cycling enthusiasts from near and far. During the Sellaronda Bike Day, the roads of the Sellaronda are closed to motorized traffic and exclusively reserved for cyclists with all types of bikes: from road bikes to mountain bikes to e-bikes and even some historical bikes. This event offers the opportunity to complete a 53-kilometer tour with a total elevation gain of 1,600 meters in one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world: the Dolomites. An event and an experience not to be missed.

Saslong Half Marathon

June

The Dolomites Saslong Half Marathon offers a challenging course that rewards participants with a breathtaking view of the Sassolungo. This 21 km race with a 900-meter elevation gain, formerly known as the "Val Gardena Mountain Run," is one of the most demanding and most beautiful in the entire Alpine region.

HERO Dolomites

The HERO Dolomites is one of the most challenging mountain bike races in the world. Athletes who are always looking for new challenges have already marked this race on their calendars. The race brings together international professionals and bicycle enthusiasts who share the common goal of completing one of the two routes: the Classic route of 60 km with 3,200 meters of elevation gain, and the Marathon route of 86 km with 4,500 meters of elevation gain.
